West Highland Hunting is one of Scotland’s specialists in the safe and humane live capture and remote treatment of large animals, small animals, domestic livestock and wildlife. Working with renowned veterinarian support, we offer a comprehensive and professional service. We use state of the art equipment to deliver darts accurately and safely, with minimum risk to animals or the public. We offer an emergency service throughout Scotland to farmers, landowners, wildlife keepers and the emergency services for the effective, non-lethal recovery of dangerous animals or animals that present a danger to the public.
Where appropriate and in line with current legislation, we offer a translocation service to deer farms, parks and to those wishing to move animals from one part of their Estate to another. Our wildlife team can capture or immobilise and move animals in full compliance with current legislation and with the support of expert veterinarian advice. The services offered are detailed below:

- Equine and Bovine Recovery – We specialise in the recapture of horses, ponies, cattle and other hooved stock that have been wild and cannot otherwise be captured.
- Radio Collar Telemetry – Wild Highland Hunting supplies and fits radio collars and telemetry equipment to aid remote data collection systems for research and other applications
- Handling system design and Construction – Our design, manufacture and construction services ensure that you get the best possible facilities for the safe and humane handling of large animals
- Provision of top quality blood stock or breeding hinds for park owners or estate owners
