Not every hunter is suited to traversing the arduous hill terrain and in recognition of this we also offer woodland stalking. This can be taken on its own or as a mixture for a group who wish to experience not only open hill but woodland. It is possible to stalk red, roe, sika and fallow in this way. Typically hunting takes place early morning and evening and can be stalking along the forest edge or from high seats. Some of our high seats are also suitable for disabled access.
The Package
Arriving in Scotland on either a Saturday or Sunday for one week, you make your own way to your self-catering accommodation and are met by your guide. On arrival the plans for the week are arranged and the week commences with a trip to the range to check firearms and to allow the guide and client to become acquainted.
The woodland stalking experience is available from the 1st of May until the 1st August and is conducted in the early morning and late evening with outings typically lasting for four hours. It can either be spot and stalk or from one of our high seats on the forest edge.
