About Us
NO OTHER COUNTRY HAS A RICHER OR MORE WONDERFUL HUNTING HISTORY THAN SCOTLAND.
Traditional methods of hill stalking and hunting game have not changed for centuries and continue to this day.
As a country, Scotland offers guests inspiring and unique hunting experiences in some of the most breathtaking locations anywhere in the world. West Highland Hunting provides the finest hunting experiences available anywhere in Scotland. Using a number of the most spectacular sporting estates together with their traditional cottage or castle accommodation, a hunting trip with us will undoubtedly be one of the most memorable of your life.
One of the main estates West Highland Hunting manages is the world famous and remote Ardnamurchan. Located on the Scottish west coast, Ardnamurchan is a 50 square mile peninsula in Argyll noted for being completely unspoilt and undisturbed by man.
NewsOUR SPECIALITIES
- Hunting Stalking is the term commonly used in Scotland for the pursuit of large mammals, particularly deer. Thanks to West Highland Hunting stalking may be enjoyed in one form or another all year round. With no less than five species to choose from, each with its own peculiarities, the stalker has a wide variety of choice.
- Fishing Ardnamurchan is one of Scotland’s best loved destinations for freshwater and sea angling, with fishing throughout the year. So if you’re chasing the ‘king of fish’, the Atlantic salmon, or you prefer hard fighting giants like the common skate, Ardnamurchan has something for you.
- Accommodation As Britain’s most westerly point nestled amongst dramatic coastal and mountain scenery, our accommodation is unrivalled in Scotland. You have 10 self-catering dwellings to choose from or there is also access to a range of traditional Scottish sporting hotels.
