Glencoe House, built by Lord Strathcona in 1896, works in close partnership with West Highland Hunting to provide inspiring and unique hunting experiences, combined with outstanding five-star accommodation in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, an area renowned for hunting.

Comprising of 14 generous private suites, with two distinct concepts, both of which offer elegant, relaxed and sumptuous suites, with space and privacy to kick off your shoes and unwind after a day’s hunting.

The Glencoe House suites, situated in the mansion house occupy individual wings of the historic building and enjoy panoramic sea and mountain vistas. One- or two-bedroom suites are available, all boasting lavish bathrooms with a substantial sitting room, encompassing an array of period features, including the luxury of your own open fire, together with the convenience of 21st-century technology.

A particularly distinguishing feature of the Glencoe House suites is its unique dining experience; breakfast and a candlelit five-course dinner are served at your own private dining table, within your suite. Dress up or dress down, the choice is yours – enjoy an elegant restaurant experience without fellow diners.

Alternatively, the Bell Tower Suites at Glencoe House, reside in a characteristic building located just 50 metres from the mansion house. The Bell Tower contains six, one-bedroom suites. The ground floor of each suite comprises of a comfortable sitting room with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, complete with AGA-oven and a luxurious bathroom, with Aveda toiletries. An elegant staircase takes you to the first-floor mezzanine, where your bedroom and en-suite WC are located. Each suite enjoys the luxury of a private walled garden with hot tub, barbeque and alfresco dining.

Dining in The Bell Tower suites is extremely flexible, guests have the exclusive option of a seasonal five-course menu served in the Great Hall of Glencoe House or the option to enjoy the delights of their fully stocked kitchen. Choose from a wide array of pre-prepared gourmet meals, then simply slip them into the AGA-oven and choose an accompanying wine or drink from our ever-popular maxi bar; effortless indulgent, private dining without being disturbed by fellow guests or waiting staff.
